The Suns apparently liked Kentucky freshman guard Archie Goodwin
so much, they couldn’t wait to get him.

從太陽迫不及待要取得肯大大一後衛好贏哥的行動中，看得出球隊非常喜歡他。


The Suns moved up one spot to nab Goodwin late in the first round
of the 2013 NBA draft on Thursday, swapping the 30th and final pick
of the first round for the No. 29 pick belonging to the Golden State
Warriors.

太陽在首輪末用上升一順位的方式運作，好取得好贏。這個選秀權原本是
勇士隊的。


The trade had not been officially cleared by the NBA as of press
time, and no other trade details, such as further compensation,
were available.

在這篇報導出來的時候，還沒有正式的細節。

The Suns received the 30th pick from the Lakers as part of the
trade that sent franchise icon Steve Nash to Los Angeles. Had the
Lakers missed the playoffs, that pick would have become a lottery
selection.

太陽的這支三十號籤是從Nash的交易中得來的，如果湖人沒進季後賽的話，
這會是支樂透籤。

The 29th pick went through several hands as well. Golden State
originally traded with Minnesota to get the 26th pick, but then
shipped that selection to Oklahoma City for the right to pick 29th
before swapping picks with Phoenix.

Goodwin was a player thought to be in the conversation to be selected
by the Suns at the end of the first round, and worked out for the team
on June 8 with five other players. At just 18 years old — he’ll turn
19 in August — Goodwin was the youngest American player in the draft.

在6/8，和另外五個其他球員的比較中，Goodwin 是太陽設定動用 #30 選下的球員。

The 6-5, 189-pound guard led the Kentucky Wildcats in scoring with
14.1 points a game in 2012-13, and nearly recorded what would have
been just Kentucky’s second triple-double with a 22-point, nine-rebound,
nine-assist performance against LIU-Brooklyn.

Goodwin 身高 6-5 ，體重 189 磅。他去年球季平均每場可以得到14.1分。

Goodwin is seen as a strong transition player who has the ability to
finish at the rim and get to the free-throw line. He led the Southeastern
Conference in free-throw attempts last season and became just the ninth
player in Wildcats history to make 100 or more free throws.

Goodwin 擁有很好的底線埋伏能力，而且也能製造罰球。他去年是聯盟上賽季
的罰球王，而且也是肯大史上第九位能夠單季創造一百個以上罰球的球員。

The Wildcats, coming off an NCAA title in 2011, missed the NCAA Tournament
and lost in the first round of the NIT to Robert Morris, a game in which
Goodwin scored 18 points and had seven rebounds.

2011 NCAA 總冠軍的肯大，去年在第一輪就錯失了錦標賽資格。這場比賽裡 Goodwin
奪下了 18 分 7 籃板。


Goodwin figures to compete for time as a two-guard along with P.J. Tucker
and Shannon Brown. Swingman Wesley Johnson is a restricted free agent, but
the Suns might not tender an offer to him.

在 Goodwin 的位置上他要和塔克跟咖啡競爭，還有已經成為自由球員的WJ，不過
太陽可能不會報價給他。

Goodwin is the second player the Suns have drafted out of Kentucky. Phoenix
picked Rajon Rondo with the 21st pick in the 2006 draft, but immediately
traded Rondo to Boston along with Brian Grant for a first-round pick in
2007, which the team sold to the Portland Trail Blazers.

Goodwin 也是太陽選過的第二個肯大球員，上一個是現在總版很夯的軟豆哥。


He’s also the second Kentucky player taken in the draft behind center
Nerlens Noel, who entered the draft as the presumed top overall pick but
was taken sixth by the New Orleans Pelicans, who then traded him to the
Philadelphia 76ers.

他同時也是在 Noel 之後，本屆選秀第二個被選上的肯大球員。


Goodwin was a two-time Gatorade High School Player of the Year in his home
state of Arkansas, signing with Kentucky while the Wildcats were in the
midst of claiming the 2012 NCAA title.

他在高中的時候拿過兩次阿肯色州的 Player of the Year ，也為了追逐 2012 的
NCAA冠軍加入肯大。


Kentucky missed the NCAA tournament altogether in 2013, and lost in the
first round of the NIT to Robert Morris, a game in which Goodwin had 18

It was probably more hardship that Goodwin was bargaining for when he picked
Kentucky over the likes of Kansas and Connecticut. Playing with the Suns,
who completed the second-worst season in franchise history by finishing
25-57 last year, will be an even tougher challenge.

加入去年 25-57 的太陽隊，對於 Goodwin 來講，會是比他當年在肯德基和其他
學校間作出抉擇更為艱難的挑戰。

His only, more-difficult-than-expected collegiate season behind him,
Goodwin seems ready for the challenge, at least according to his Twitter
account (@A1Laflare10).

面對這個看似比預期更為艱難的挑戰， Goodwin 似乎已經準備好了，
至少，他在 Twitter 上面是這麼說的：

“Time to start this journey to the top,” Goodwin tweeted after his selection.
“All the doubters about to see me in action.”
