[外電] 太陽進攻大爆發 以123-108勝小牛

Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle said before Saturday night’s
game that Phoenix is “every bit as good as their [15-10] record”
and followed up by saying “you don’t wipe out a 21-point lead at
Denver if you’re not good.”

Shooting 75 percent from the field in the fourth quarter isn’t
bad proof either.
太陽這場第四節7成5的命中率看來像是另外一個好的佐證。

The Suns’ offense, which had been potent enough for most of
the night, turned in the most efficient quarter’s performance of
the season to pull away for a 123-108 home win over Dallas.
Phoenix connected on 12 of its 16 shot attempts in the final period
to earn its seventh win in eight games and 11th out of 15.
太陽的進攻整場大部分的時間都很威了，在第四節進而發展成本季最好的一節
並在太陽主場拿下勝利。最後太陽以16中12的第四節表現使他們近八場

“Offensively, that was probably our best game [of the season],”
said Suns Head Coach Jeff Hornacek.

Especially from beyond the arc. The Suns hit exactly half of
their 30 attempts from three-point range, led by four makes
apiece form Gerald Green (22 points) and Channing Frye
(18 points, eight rebounds).

Green played down his performance, crediting the rest of of the
team for making his recent 10-of-20 spree from three an easy affair.

Green said of his teammates. “It’s just easy for me to knock

Eric Bledsoe (25 points, six assists, four rebounds) added a

“We wanted to push the ball,” Hornacek said. “We thought
that maybe after last night, we had the advantage if we could
push it the rest of the game and maybe they would get tired
at the end…We wanted to just continue keeping up the pressure
and I thought Eric and Goran [Dragic] did that.”

Dallas made several runs to narrow the gap throughout the game,
including cutting a 15-point first-half lead to two and
an 11-point third-quarter lead to four.

The Mavericks, however, showed more fatigue than the younger
Suns after dropping a one-point contest to Toronto in
overtime on Friday night.
然後小牛，在前天多倫多OT輸了一分後顯得比年輕的太陽來的疲累。

Phoenix used their younger legs to race out for 17 fast break
points and outrebound Dallas 45-36, including 15 offensive rebounds.
太陽用著他們年輕的肉體跑出17分的快攻並在籃板上以45-36領先小牛，
這中間包刮著15個進攻籃板。

“We’re the younger team, so [both teams coming off Friday night games]
 was to our advantage tonight,” Hornacek said. “They looked a little
tired. They had a tough game last night. They’re veteran guys…
towards the end of the game we had that little extra [energy]
that was left because we’re younger.”

Bluekidds: 這場堪稱本季進攻代表作，也難得看到Cuban臉這麼賽，我是小牛迷
也會被我們的三分表現氣到彈出來。一顆又一顆，看到小牛球員都快脫力了。
跟去年比起來我們三分又恢復了太陽傳統本色，加上高效率的反擊快攻，
我們是可以期待一下啦....
