It has been some time since the last Thai APPS. Hope all has been going well
for you all. Are you all ready for the 4th APPS coming up just in another 5mon
ths?? The RC and I are keen to see you all there this summer.
Now, I need to ask you all a favourto help us out. I am pretty sure you all k
now that out theme is Public Health. We have been saying this for quite some t
ime. I have some questions for you.
1,What in Japan, rgarding Public Health as our theme, do you want to see or hea
r about?
2.What do you imagine when you hear the word "Drug induced disaster"?
3. We are planning on having a disccussion on the health insurance system of ea
ch country. Can you guve us an idea of how your health insurance works? For e
xample, who pays for your insurance? Is there any system other than the insura
nce system that the goverment has?DO you pay insurance when you go abroud? etc
, etc.......
4.The 3rd APPS was delayed due to SARS. What interests you most regarding infe
ctious disease? (For example: influenza, AIDS, TB, etc)
5.What about Japanese culture do you want to see or experience?
(For example, wear traditional ,try Japanese sports, tea ceremony, flower arran
gement etc...)
