Fukudome's impending arrival in the United States comes during what many

Peavy honored:
San Diego right-handed pitcher Jake Peavy -- considered to be the front-runner
for the NL's Cy Young Award -- was selected Wednesday the recipient of the
2007 Bullet Rogan Legacy Award for being the top pitcher in the NL.
Peavy went 19-6 with a 2.54 ERA, leading the NL in victories, ERA and
strikeouts (240).
The Cy Young Award winner for the NL will be announced on Nov. 15.
