2007 IEEE Conference on Multimedia & Expo
Call for Demos
Multimedia is not just about papers; it should be fun and entertaining.
ICME'07 features a special demo program to showcase innovative multimedia
technologies and applications. While a typical conference paper
presentation begins with a method and ends with some results, a demo is
meant to show the process by which the results are achieved in a realistic
and multimedia way. ICME'07 encourages demo submissions in all areas of
multimedia, and from both universities and industries. Prospective
contributors should follow the instructions below to submit their demos.
Instructions for Demo Submission
Contributors should submit a one-page summary of their proposed demo by
the deadline to the email address below. All submissions should provide
the following information:
1. What: an overview of the system or application that will be
demonstrated.
2. How: a description about how the demo illustrates a novel concept,
method, or implementation.
3. A list of no more than 5 keywords that define the technical area of
the submission.
4. Is the demonstrated system or application a commercial product?
Please note that the ICME demo program is not a venue for product
promotion. Any demo of commercial nature will absolutely be rejected.
