What is barangay?
barangay is the smallest unit of government in the Philippines.
its is headed b a barangay chairman and councilors
Barangay was taken from the word balangay (boat). the concept of living
together with harmony in a small place.
As in a boat barangay shoud be apolitical; leaning in one side can cause to
boat o capsize.
規模對照起來應該跟"村"比較接近,
通常每個BARANGAY都有一個BARANGAY HALL用來聚會用.
比較熱情的BARANGAY會在進入該處的主要通道設置歡迎牌(牌坊?), 很好辨認.
