7我願意眾人像我一樣；只是各人領受神的恩賜，一個是這樣，一個是那樣。
For I wish that all men were even as I myself. But each one has
his own gift from God, one in this manner and another in that.
8我對著沒有嫁娶的寡婦說，若她們常像我就好
But I say to the unmarried and to the widows: It is good for them
if they remain even as I am;
9倘若自己禁止不住，就可以嫁娶。與其慾火攻心，倒不如嫁娶為妙。
But if they cannot exercise self-control, let them marry. For it
is better to marry than be burn with passion.
