看板 Philo-06 關於我們 聯絡資訊
(轉自友人網誌) 美國版的時代雜誌這次的cover 有句有點聳動的標題 "How to Bring our Schools out of the 20th Century (How to Build a Student for the 21st Century) 接下來是我稍微整理的幾項 或許對你我都有幫助 (1)Knowing more about the world (應該就是說培養global visions or worldview) (2)Thinking outside the box(這好像是三民陳英文的片語齁~) --->Kids need to learn how to leap across disciplines because that is how breakthrough now come about. It is interdisciplinary combinations---design and technology, mathemetics and art ---which produce YOU TUBE and MYSPACE. (3)Becoming smarter about new sources of information. In an age of overflowing information and proliferating media, kids need to rapidly process what's coming at them and distinguish between what's reliable and what is not. (4)Developing good people skills ---> EQ, or emotional intelligence, is as important as IQ for success in today's workplace. Most innovations today involve large teams of people. We have to emphasise communication skills, the ability to work in teams and with people from different cultures. (5)In this media-drenched era of blogs and podcasts, google searches and instant messages, young people need to acquire a new set of literary skills. That allows them to locate information, sort through it quickly and , most important, determine sources are reliable and which ones are not.
