Ks ≡ - (1/V) * (DV/Dp)_s , 其中D是偏微分符號
而理想氣體在絕熱過程中
pV^γ = constant ,
=> ln p + γ ln V = constant
對p微分 => 1/p + γ 1/V (DV/Dp)_s = 0
=> 1/p - γKs = 0
=> pγKs=1
