dynamics

mechanics that deals with the motion and equilibrium of

kinetics
–noun (used with a singular verb) Physics.
the branch of mechanics that deals with the actions of forces
in producing or changing the motion of masses.
mechanics
–noun (used with a singular verb) the branch of physics that
deals with the action of forces on bodies and with motion,
comprised of kinetics, statics, and kinematics.
statics
–noun (used with a singular verb) the branch of mechanics
that deals with bodies at rest or forces in equilibrium.
kinematics
–noun (used with a singular verb) Physics.
the branch of mechanics that deals with pure motion, without
reference to the masses or forces involved in it.

我自己的印象是，在一般文獻中dynamics常和kinetics混用，mechanics則是統稱。
