I think you say Higgs particle decay
mt=175 GeV, mb=5 GeV
If mH < 2 mt, Higgs cannot decay to t tbar
just because energy momentum conservation
If mH > mt+mb (it is very likely according to
the current experiment lower bound)
and we know Htb coupling is proportional to mt (so very large),
then we it is a reasonable statement.
