Thomas(1927)
Electrons are distributed uniformly in the six-dimensional pjase space
for the motion of an electron at the rate of two for each h^3 of volume.

We can assume that the electrons in each cell behave like independent
fermions at  the temperature 0 K.

簡單來講  他假設每一小單位中的fermion是獨立的 相當於被丟在一個infinite well.
