[請益] spin-dependent scattering

請問為何不同自旋方向的電子

在進入不同極化方向的材料中,scatter的情形會不同??

這背後有什麼原因嗎??


還有,我在有關GMR的paper上看到Co的band structure

分成一個叫majority,一個叫minority

我知道band可以因spin而split,但這邊不太懂他用這種命名的原因

這是指說majority band是Co裡面,此種自旋方向數量較多的電子所佔據的band嗎??
