[題目] 楊氏干涉

楊氏雙狹縫干涉，有S1.S2兩個狹縫，光源來自S的狹縫，其中

S1.S2面和S狹縫的面間有一個Polarizer

1.What change occurs in the interference pattern on the screen if
the slits S1,S2 are covered ny half-wave plates oriented so as to
be perpendicular to one another(parallel and perpendicular to the
slits)?

2.What happens if the polarizer P is turned through 90度

3.What pattern is observed if the polarizer is removed?

4.Cosider the same question as (3) when quarter-wave instead of half-wave
plates are used

我第一題題目看不太懂，後面幾題看懂也不知道答案

推 cook200277:我覺得S1和S2兩道光各自經過狹縫後偏振變成垂直和平行
→ cook200277:所以這兩道光偏振互相垂直因此不會產生干涉
推 cook200277:第二題P轉90度兩道光偏振多轉180度，因此還是互相垂直
推 cook200277:第三題偏振片拿掉應該就是一般的雙狹縫干涉吧!!
