小弟我正在努力的打The Dark side of the Moon 介紹中
但是最近小弟我再努力的看歌詞的時候
有幾段歌詞實在不懂他的意思
上網也找不太到(小弟英文神爛)
希望友強者來幫我解答或分享看法:
Q1:
Us and Them這首歌歌詞有一段獨白是這樣的
"I mean, they're not gunna kill ya, so if you give 'em a quick short,
sharp, shock, they won't do it again. Dig it? I mean he get off
lightly, 'cos I would've given him a thrashing - I only hit him once!
It was only a difference of opinion, but really...I mean good manners
don't cost nothing do they, eh? "
小弟我找到的翻譯這樣寫道:
我的意思是：他們不會真的殺你，所以如果你给他們一个快速、短暫、準確且出奇不意
的打擊，你就不需要再做一次。
挖洞？
我的意思是：他會走得很快、很輕盈，因為我只出手一次就搞定了。
那是觀念上的不同。
但實際上我的意思是：好的方法不會浪費時間，你明白嗎？
說實話我實在看不懂這段翻譯到底在說什麼耶XD
有神人可以解釋一下嗎?
Q2:
Us and Them這首歌歌詞也有幾段那個人沒有翻譯的我也看無:
1.It can't be helped but there's a lot of it about
2.For the want of the price of tea and a slice
Q3:
Brain Damage 這首歌的最後兩句，看得懂卻不懂這兩句歌詞更深的含意
之前看搖滾天堂這本書寫道這首歌的最後暗示著樂團解散的前兆
但這張是1973年的專輯Roger Waters不是在10年後才離團嗎?
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes
如果你在的樂團 開始演奏不同的曲調
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.
那麼我們將在月之暗面相會
