AUBURN HILLS-- The Pistons didn't understand it at the time, and they don't
really understand it now.

Why did the Miami Heat, a team that had the best record in the Eastern
Conference last season and came within minutes of winning the conference
championship, feel the need to rework their roster?

The Pistons were curious to see how the Heat interact and perform with Riley on
the bench. The Heat are 6-2 since Riley replaced Stan Van Gundy.
