So far in March, the Pistons have played only two teams over .500: the Denver
Nuggets, leaders of the Northwest Division, and the Washington Wizards, who are
three games above the mark.

HAMILTON FINED: The league fined guard Richard Hamilton $5,000 for throwing a
basketball into the stands on Friday against New York.

Hamilton claimed he was trying to hit the backboard when he launched the ball
after he was called for an offensive foul. The ball hit off the shot clock and
