Players mull MVP campaign
Pistons see league's top players in this weekend's games against teams in We
stern Conference.

PHOENIX -- The NBA MVP race is coming through the Pistons this weekend.
On Friday, they saw Suns guard Steve Nash.
Sunday, they'll deal with Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki.
Seemed like a good time to ask the Pistons to weigh in.
"I would probably vote for Dirk," Richard Hamilton said. "They have the best
record in the league and he's their main guy."

Chauncey Billups chose Nash.
"I feel like if you take Steve off their team, they still have some good players,
but he's their whole engine," he said. "With Dirk, if you take him off
Dallas, they have enough good players that they would still be an elite team.
Plus, Dirk doesn't control the ball for the whole game. He doesn't make
everybody else on his team better. He's great and he can score and he's right
there in the race, but with Nash you are looking at somebody who makes
everybody else go."

Nash是能讓所有人發揮价值的球員".
Now, don't ask Rasheed Wallace to break the tie.
"Neither," he said.
Who would he vote for?
"Somebody who plays defense," he said. "None of them play any defense."

不過Rasheed認為他倆都不是.他要投票給那种"會防守的球員",而Dirk和Nash都不算.
