The Pistons clinched a spot in the playoffs with a 100-93 win Friday night over
New Jersey at the Palace, and coach Michael Curry said he still expects to keep
the same nine- or 10-man rotation in the postseason.

That would mean Jason Maxiell, center Kwame Brown and point guard Will Bynum
coming off the bench.

"So the same guys that are playing every night, so it's almost like what we
said coming out of training camp," Curry said. "And then Arron (Afflalo) or
Walter (Herrmann), both of them may play but maybe one of them, depending on
the game. So we definitely expect to play nine guys every night."

As for the Pistons' playoff picture, Curry is first concerned with finishing
the final three regular-season games on a high note.

"We've got to start off on the road, but we can't think about it too much right
now because we really need to get this game in Indy tomorrow, and Indy's a
tough matchup for us -- a tough matchup for everybody."

CURRY REFLECTS 咖哩省思
These days, Curry is consumed with tending to the present, looking ahead to
playoff scenarios -- and even looking back a little at his first season as a
head coach.

As a bit of a surprise, Curry said the most challenging part of the November
trade that sent team captain Chauncey Billups to Denver for Allen Iverson was
the way it robbed him of forward Antonio McDyess, who was part of the deal and
had to miss 17 games under trade restrictions until the Pistons re-signed him
in early December.
令人驚訝的是，Curry認為他最大的挑戰不是去年11月送走了Billups、換來了Iverson。讓
他感到困擾的是這筆交易讓活塞曾短暫地失去了McDyess，直到活塞12月初重新與他簽約，
McDyess已經缺席了17場比賽。
"I think the biggest thing is all that time we missed Antonio McDyess," Curry
said Friday. "I think 'Dyess is like a glue to this team. I think any
transition that you were going to go through it'd have gone a lot better if you
had 'Dyess that entire time."

But the struggle wasn't all bad. Curry noted how the adversity has helped the
team grow in ways it never had to in the past.

"Normally guys have gone through a smooth ride because of the consistency with
the team, gone throughout a smooth ride throughout the season and haven't had a
lot of things to battle through," Curry said. "So we've battled through them
and our head's still above water, so I think we can learn from that and we can
become a better team because of that. Not just right now but in the future."

The Pistons end the regular season Wednesday at Miami, but Curry said the
team's approach to the game will depend on what is on the line.

開場比賽的方針。
"If we're not playing to secure a higher seed on Wednesday, then we won't put
that much emphasis on the game Wednesday," he said. "But if that game is for a
higher seed, then we stay kind of with our same rotation."
「如果我們在週三的比賽已無關種子順序，那我們不會花費太多的精力在這場比賽，」他說
。「但若這場比賽事關重大，會進而影響我們的種子順序，那我們仍將全力已赴。」
