How does a team of LeBron James, Dirk Nowitzki, Yao Ming, Kobe Bryant and
Devin Harris sound? Pretty good, right? Now – how does it sound when that's
your second unit?
如果有一支球隊是由LBJ、Dirk、Yao、Kobe、Harris組成你覺得有威嗎?
如果我告訴你這只是這支球隊的二線陣容呢?


That's the makeup of the bench … on the Pistons' All-Opponent team for the
2008-09 season.
這只是板凳陣容，這支球隊名稱叫做「活塞全敵人隊」。


The first team isn't quite as loaded with superstars, but it does include a
couple of faces familiar around The Palace, ex-Pistons Mehmet Okur and
Chauncey Billups. Rounding out the team are Danny Granger, LaMarcus Aldridge
and Dwyane Wade.
「活塞全敵人隊」的先發球員並不全然都是超級巨星，而且有些是宮殿球場的熟面孔。

Power forward  – LaMarcus Aldridge
He killed the Pistons in both meetings as Portland swept the Pistons this
season. Billed as a young Rasheed Wallace, Aldridge showed great offensive
proficiency with his mid-range jumper, going 11 of 19 to score 27 points to go
with four rebounds when Portland won at The Palace early in the season, then
coming back with 26 and six on 11 of 21 shooting when the Trail Blazers won the
rematch on a night Wallace was out of the lineup with a bad foot. The
third-year lottery pick is at the head of the list of the new wave of young
power forwards.
活塞這季被拓荒者橫掃了，本季兩次對上拓荒者都輸球全是他害的。他就像是年輕版的

Small forward  – Danny Granger
Granger, one of the favorites for Most Improved Player, announced his breakout
year in the season opener at The Palace when he scored 33 points on just 16
field-goal attempts. He was even better the next time the Pacers visited, going
off for 42. When Indiana beat the Pistons at Conseco Field House, Granger had
24 points and 10 rebounds, and he came back with another 24 to lead the Pacers
to a win on Saturday that cost the Pistons a shot at moving up in playoff
seeding

Center         – Mehmet Okur
Since Okur left the Pistons as a restricted free agent following their 2003-04
championship season – through a loophole since closed in the collective
bargaining agreement – he's enjoyed maddening success against his former team.
Utah is 9-1 over the past five seasons and is on an eight-game winning streak.
Okur was a big reason why the Jazz swept the season series this year, scoring
26 points with 12 boards in a double-overtime December win at The Palace and
putting up 22 and six – doing most of his damage early – when Utah knocked
off a beaten-up Pistons team in Salt Lake City in early January.
Okur於2003-04拿到戒指後成為受限制的自由球員，在一番激烈的討價還價後他離開活塞到

Shooting guard – Dwyane Wade
Nobody had a better year against the Pistons than Wade, who gets one more shot
at them – in the season finale Wednesday at Miami when playoff seeding could
still be at stake. In three games, Wade has averaged 33 points, 5.3 rebounds
and 11.7 assists against the Pistons. He set a career high with 16 assists in
Miami's home win over the Pistons and came back with 39 points in a March win
at The Palace that left the Pistons seething for two non-calls on Wade in the
final minute, the last of which saw Rodney Stuckey sent sprawling out of bounds
on a potential game-tying drive.
沒有人打活塞比今年的Wade還要更有心得了，而且本季他還有一次機會可以對上正在為了季
後賽順位苦惱的活塞，也就是週三在邁阿密的最後一場例行賽。前三次與活塞對戰，Wade平
均拿下33分、5.3籃板、11.7助攻。他在邁阿密主場的那場比賽拿下生涯新高的16助攻擊退

Point guard    – Chauncey Billups
Mr. Big Shot hit plenty of them in the two meetings against the team he led for
six seasons, averaging 32 points and four assists – but the Pistons had the
last laugh, winning both times. Billups had 20 points in the first half of
their January meeting in Denver before Allen Iverson led a Pistons second-half
comeback. Denver played without Carmelo Anthony in both games, but the Pistons
were also shorthanded, winning at Denver without Rip Hamilton and Rasheed
Wallace and at The Palace without Iverson. Billups shot 11 of 19 in both games.
當Billups本季兩度遇上這支他曾經率領過6個球季的隊伍時也毫不留情，平均攻下32分、4
助攻 - 但活塞是最後的贏家，兩次都贏球XD。一月份作客丹佛的那場比賽，在Iverson下半

Power forward  – Dirk Nowitzki
He was a model of consistency in Dallas' two wins over the Pistons, shooting 12
of 20 in both games in averaging 28 points and 5.5 rebounds. Nowitzki proved a
tough cover for everyone who tried his hand guarding him. Amir Johnson got
schooled in the first meeting at The Palace. The Pistons were without Rasheed
Wallace in the return match in Dallas and Nowitzki again burned them for 30
points, showing off his creative shotmaking both from the perimeter and inside
the paint.
他十足是本季小牛橫掃活塞的功臣，兩場比賽下來平均拿下28分(兩場都有12-20的高命中率
)、5.5籃板。無論是誰想成功封鎖他的火力已經是越來越困難的事情了。第一次來奧本山踢

Small forward  – LeBron James
The likely league MVP didn't do anything to the Pistons that he didn't do to
the rest of the NBA this season. He averaged 25.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and 7.5
assists against the Pistons as Cleveland won the season series 3-1. The least
impressive statistical game James played against the Pistons – a 20-point,
five-rebound, nine-assist effort – came in a February home win when the Cavs
led by 36 at one point and James played only 31 minutes.
年度MVP的候選人LeBron對活塞做的和他對聯盟中其他28隊所做的沒什麼不同(一樣威)。

Center         – Yao Ming
The mammoth Yao has been well-contained by the Pistons in the past, but when
they went to Houston in March – one night after losing to Nowitzki and the
Mavs in Dallas – they were still without Wallace. The Pistons played one of
the guttiest games of the season, forcing the Rockets into double overtime on a
night Antonio McDyess grabbed 20 rebounds in 51 minutes, but Yao overwhelmed
them with 31 points and 15 boards. He was out of the lineup when Houston won at
The Palace in January, but his one game against them was impressive enough to
land on the All-Opponent second team.
巨人姚明在過去打活塞時總是會被「好好招待」一番，但當三月份活塞作客休士頓時 - 就
在剛被Dirk幹掉之後的下一場比賽 - Rasheed依然缺陣。那場比賽大概是活塞本季最有勇氣

Shooting guard – Kobe Bryant
The Pistons actually did a pretty good job mitigating the damage Bryant can
cause in both meetings with the Lakers this season, forcing him to take 30
shots to score his 29 points when the Pistons won at the Staples Center in
November. Bryant was much more efficient when the Lakers beat them at The
Palace in March when the Pistons were without Wallace and Hamilton, scoring 30
points on 10 of 18 shooting and leading the Lakers back from a 10-point deficit
with a dominant 31-13 third-quarter stretch.
活塞本季兩次遇上湖人時，在壓制Kobe進攻火力上確實算做得不錯了。讓他在11月份的那場
比賽得出手30次才能拿下29分，而且最後笑著走出Staples Center的是活塞(也破了湖人當
時開季的不敗金身)。但當3月份回到奧本山時Rasheed與RIP皆因傷缺陣，這回Kobe可是高效
率地拿下30分 (10-18)。他在第三節率領湖人從落後10分的劣勢展開逆襲(第三節活塞-湖人
比分13-31)，最終活塞反而輸掉了上半場的領先優勢，以77-92 吞下敗仗。

Point guard    – Devin Harris
Harris was on track to be the first-teamer until a lethargic one-point,
two-assist night against the Pistons on Friday, though a left shoulder injury
that forced him out of the game in the third quarter was partially responsible.
Until then, Harris had been dominant against the Pistons, consistently breaking
down their defense with dribble penetration and off of pick-and-roll action.
Through his first three games, in which New Jersey won twice, Harris had
averaged 25.3 points and 7.3 assists. He scored 38 to hand the Pistons their
first loss of the season in November, getting to the free-throw line 24 times.
看似 Harris的明星成長之路正步入正軌，直到週五隊上活塞這場比賽他像在打瞌睡一樣只

Power forward  – David West
After getting swept by the Pistons last season, New Orleans turned the tables
this year and nobody was more responsible for that than West. He had 20 points
and seven boards when the Hornets scored a six-point January win at The Palace,
but was really impressive in the return match in New Orleans in February with
30 points and 10 boards.
去年活塞橫掃黃蜂之後，今年換黃蜂報仇橫掃我們了，West絕對是這齣復仇記最大的功臣。
一月份黃蜂才以六分差距踢館成功，West拿下20分(8-17)、7籃板。但更令人驚艷的是二月
份回到紐澳良主場的那場比賽，他更抓下30分(10-23 但罰球10-13)、10籃板。

Small forward  – Andre Igoudala
Igoudala got off to slow start this season, perhaps because Philadelphia’s
off-season acquisition of Elton Brand forced Igoudala to move to the backcourt.
So his 14-point, eight-rebound night against the Pistons in December, when the
76ers came from 15 points back to win at The Palace, wasn’t particularly
eye-opening. But back at his natural small forward position, Igoudala was
terrific in two late-season games with the Pistons, averaging 29 points and
eight rebounds as the teams split.
Igoudala本季熱機稍嫌慢了些，也許是因為七六人剛簽下Elton Brand使得Igoudala的位置
被擠到後場。在12月的那場比賽七六人曾一度落後達15分但最後逆轉踢館成功，Igoudala拿

Center         – Dwight Howard
Howard’s numbers probably merit more than a third-team nod – 21.3 points, 15
rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game – but the Pistons swept Orlando 3-0. And one
big reason for that is they are one of the very few teams in the league who can
get away with not doubling the freakishly strong and athletic 7-footer. Rasheed
Wallace, Antonio McDyess and Kwame Brown all do a good job of forcing Howard
into tough shots and doing their best to limit his dunks and offensive rebounds.
光看Howard的數據可能不止排在第三隊 - 他平均每場比賽拿下21.3、15籃板、2.3火鍋 -

Shooting guard – Eric Gordon
The only rookie to crack our list, Gordon was terrific in the Los Angeles
Clippers’ two losses to the Pistons this season. In their January meeting at
Staples Center, Gordon carried a woefully shorthanded Clippers team to a
near-upset, scoring 31 points and making all 12 of his foul shots. With his
team close to full strength in the return match at The Palace, Gordon took just
nine shots but still scored 22 points.
唯一入圍這名單中的菜鳥就是這位快艇隊的Eric Gordon，雖然本季活塞橫掃了快艇但是他
在這兩場比賽的表現還是很驚人。一月份活塞造訪Staples Center踢館，Gordon一肩扛起人
力吃緊的快艇隊拿下31分(9-21)、而且把站上罰球線上的12球全數穩穩罰進。當第二次當快

Point guard    – Ramon Sessions
Milwaukee’s second-year, second-round find didn’t even start against the
Pistons in their first two meetings of the season, yet he still scored in
double figures in both games. In four games, he averaged 23.5 points and six
assists against the Pistons, and his 44-point, 12-assist effort in Detroit’s
126-121 overtime win at Milwaukee on Feb. 7 might have been the most impressive
game all season by an opponent.
公鹿這位進入 NBA才第二年的第二輪選秀菜鳥甚至在頭兩次對上活塞時還不是先發球員，但
他在那兩場比賽的得分都達到兩位數。四次與活塞的對陣紀錄中，他平均拿下 23.5分、6助
攻。最令人吃驚的是2/7那場延長賽，雖然活塞最後以126-121贏得勝利，但他狂拿44分
(13-18 罰球18-21)、12助攻。
