Hedo Turkoglu (Magic 6-10 forward)
Dubbed "Mr. Fourth Quarter" in some circles (Sound familiar?), Turkoglu has
made some big shots for the Magic in the last five seasons. After Game 2 of the
East finals, he averaged 14.7 points this postseason. His speciality is the
long-ball -- he's a career 39% shooter from three. He's the defacto point guard
for the Magic in crunch time and averaged nearly five assists this season. Made
the leap in 2008 and was named the NBA's most improved player that year.
Status: Unrestricted free agent. (early termination option)
Made $6,864,200 last season.
Jamal Crawford (Warriors 6-5 guard)
It would be a homecoming, of sorts, since Crawford spent one year at Michigan.
He was traded last season from one bad situation (New York) to another one
(Golden State). Has never played in a playoff series. Averaged 19.7 points with
Warriors. Definition of a streaky shooter.
Status: Unrestricted free agent. (early termination option)
Made $8,640,000 last season.
Charlie Villanueva (Bucks 6-11 forward)
Pistons fans have seen plenty of this ex-UConn star, who's spent the last three
season in Milwaukee. Villanueva, not heralded for his defense, averaged 16.2
points and 6.7 rebounds for a Bucks team ravaged by injury last season. Has
power forward size and small forward athleticism. He could be a Pistons if he
signed to an offer sheet the Bucks don't want to match.
Status: Restricted free agent.
Made $3,448,050 last season.
Ben Gordon (Bulls 6-3 guard)
Gordon re-emerged as a top-level scorer during the first round playoff series
against the Celtics, averaging 24.3 points. He played in every game last season
, registering 20.7 points and 3.4 assists while trying to share the load with
the NBA's rookie of the year. Hey, one UConn guard has worked out pretty well
for the Pistons.
Status: Unrestricted free agent.
Made $6,404,750 last season.
Carlos Boozer (Jazz 6-9 forward)
The 2008 Olympic gold medalist has battled injuries throughout his career,
especially this past season. He played in 37 games, mostly due to his left knee
, but still averaged 16.2 points and 10.4 rebounds. He could opt out of his
contract with the Jazz, who are due to pay him more than $12 million next
season. If he does, the Jazz would probably have to choose between Boozer,
Mehmet Okur and Paul Millsap.
Status: Unrestricted free agent if he opts out of deal.
Made $11,593,817 last season.
