Kuester praises Rodney Stuckey's play

Pistons coach John Kuester wanted to emphasize before
Sunday's game against the Lakers that he has the utmost
confidence in point guard Rodney Stuckey.

It's obvious that he was clarifying the comments he
made after Friday night's loss at Oklahoma City,
when it was apparent he wasn't all that impressed by
Stuckey's 31-point night.

似乎讓大家覺得他好像對 Stuckey 當天拿下31分不是非常的在意
He later said his remarks were meant to emphasize the
lack of ball-sharing by the entire team and Stuckey's
lack of passion in the second half, but the comments
were the first sign that the coach might have been
questioning Stuckey's performance.

With the injuries that have beset this team, however,
and with Stuckey battling through a myriad of ailments,
Kuester wanted to let everyone know he's firmly in
Stuckey's corner.

"He has done so many wonderful things for our team
this year," Kuester said. "He has at times played at
an All-Star level."

Stuckey led the Pistons with 16 points in Sunday's
93-81 loss to Los Angeles.

having not gone this season the way we had hoped in
certain situations, but Rodney Stuckey has done a
wonderful job," Kuester said. "And don't lose sight
of how important he is to this team."

evidence that the entire team was guilty of not
sharing the basketball.

"Leadership is not always necessarily always coming
from the point guard," Kuester said. "It's got to come
from a number of people.

"We have to trust each other. We have to trust the
people that are on that court and trust the people
that have uniforms on."
