花是被子植物的生殖器官
花枝接著生小枝, 在單生花solitary時叫做花柄peduncle,花柄基部生有包片bract
多花合成花序時最後的小枝,叫做花梗pedicel
花序的主枝叫做花序軸floral axis
花器各部都生長在花梗的頂端,叫做花托receptacle
花的構造(由外到內) 萼片sepal, 花瓣petal, 雄蕾stamen, 雌蕾pistil
合稱花萼calyx 花冠corolla
花萼+花冠=花被perianth
stamen由花絲filament和花藥anther組成, 合稱雄花器androecium
