that only happens when a hitter faces a ball coming to
the middle of the plate.
in other words, if you let your upper body face
the pitcher when hitting balls insdie and outside,
that causes early swing and late swing respectively,
both are not a successful hitting to me.
so, in a correct way(right hand hitter), you upper body have to face
the shortstop when facing balls inside and
face the second baseball when facing balls outside.
in this way, that can make your bat speed keep
increasing until the ball is hit, or not to lose
the bat speed before the ball was hit. the later
happens when you do a early swing.
