Royals 在 24日由 GM Allard Baird 宣布將請 Donny Rowland
擔任球隊新設立的職位 Senior director of player personnel
並同時主管球員養成、球探部門和拉丁美洲事務。
原來的主管Scouting director Deric Ladnier 和 Farm director
Shaun McGinn 將繼續留任並協助 Rowland 工作。
Rowland 最早在 Tigers 當過球員作過球探，陸陸續續在 Yankees、
Angels 任職，最近有名的事績是幫 Angels 在選秀會上選上 Kotchman
McPherson等頂級新秀。
