Strasburg ups record to 6-0 with win at Petco

SAN DIEGO — Stephen Strasburg improved his record to 6-0 this season, as San
Diego State defeated UC Davis 14-0 Friday in a non-conference college
baseball game at Petco Park.
Strasburg – an All-American who is likely to be the first selection in
June's major league draft – pitched six innings, allowing three hits,
striking out six and walking two.
He lowered his ERA this season to 1.49 and now has 94 strikeouts in 48 1/3
innings.
San Diego State, ranked No. 21 this week by Baseball America, improved to
20-10 this season.
Catcher Erik Castro hit two home runs and drove in six runs for SDSU, while
Ryan O'Sullivan hit his first collegiate home run.
