~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 我是分隔線,分隔線就是我 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
剛看到嚇了一跳,現在才發現確有其報導。
號稱立國兩百三十年的「民主」國家,種族隔離制度實行了一百九十四年,
現在還可以繼續向右轉,真絕。
其實像文中這個「校園監督」,但實則與政府同聲一氣的「小團體」在台灣也很常見。
非常光碟不也大剌剌的自稱「人民的心聲」「人民的反抗」?
什麼叫做伊斯蘭威脅?一小群駕著次音速武器衝撞大廈的游擊隊叫就做「威脅」,
那麼,由國家權力支持的數十萬名軍隊,數百架軍機,數百輛坦克,開到別國
領土殺了至少一萬人的行為叫做什麼?政府員工旅遊?出草節?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 我是第二條分隔線,下面文章不甘我事 ~~~~~~~~~~~~

Middle East Studies Under Scrutiny in U.S.
Watchdog Groups Allege Left-Wing Bias

(節錄)
At the same time, academics who specialize in the region complain that they are
under siege from conservative think tanks and self-appointed campus watchdog
organizations. They say these efforts have resulted in a flood of abusive
e-mail and calls for tightening congressional control over the funding of
Middle East studies programs, which, they contend, could undermine academic
freedoms.
Barbara Petzen, outreach coordinator at the Center for Middle Eastern Studies
at Harvard University, denounced a "right-wing thought police that is sending
spies into classrooms to report on what teachers are saying in class." Michael
C. Hudson, director of the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies at Georgetown
University, said his campus has become the target of a McCarthyist "witch hunt
."
"Middle East studies have not served us well," countered Daniel Pipes, who
founded Campus Watch a year ago as an offshoot of the Middle East Forum, a
private think tank dedicated to "promoting American interests in the Middle
East." He said mainstream academics had failed to adequately explain the
threat posed by Islamic terrorism and were prone to overlook political
repression in Arab countries.
"Americans need to know what terms like 'jihad' mean, and why we are being
attacked," he said. "This is at the very heart of our foreign and domestic
policy."
In recent months, Pipes and other conservatives have begun pushing for
stronger congressional oversight of the $95 million in government subsidies
for Middle East and other area studies programs. Legislation under
consideration by Congress includes a provision for the establishment of an
advisory board to ensure that government-funded academic programs "reflect
diverse perspectives and [a] full range of views."
