[閒聊] 我拿到Oral/Visual History了！

[nosweating (反骨)]

超厚、超大一本，
大略看了一下，覺得蠻詳盡的提到近三十年來每個時段每個人的心路歷程，
甚至也更新到去年John的離團，但篇幅就比較少了，
畢竟過程挺平和的XD

分享該頁內容如下：


Walkin' On Down The Road

Anthony:
When John came and said, "I feel like doing somthing else now,"
I really was overcome with a wave of gratitude for the years and months
and days and hours of the creative collaboration that I have had with John
 - the lifetime of him in this band. Normally if someone is going to quit,
like Flea sometimes feels like doing, I'm like, "Hey motherfuck, don't quit
we have a good thing going."

當John對我說：「我覺得是應該做點別的事情的時候了。」
我真的感受一股對於這些歲月中的每分每秒，能與John共同創作的感激。
平常要是有人說不幹了，像是Flea有時候也會這樣想，我都會說：
「嘿，老兄，別不幹啊，我們還有好多事要做。」

But when John wanted to quit I was like, "How am I going to fight that?"
I don't even feel like fighting it - he just wants to, God bless him.
I AM LUCKY TO HAVE HAD SUCH A BOUNTIFUL CREATIVE EXPERIENCE WITH ANOTHER
HUMAN BEING, AND THAT IS NOT SOMETHING I TAKE FOR GRANTED.

但是當John說他不幹時，我則會想著：「我要怎麼抵擋？」
但我現在甚至不覺得要反抗，他就是想這麼做，願他一切順利。
我真的很幸運可以和另一個人有一段如此充滿創作能量的體驗，
而這不是理所當然的。

This guy, and myself, Flea and Chad, when we get together, this chemistry
is just insane and productive, and the neatest thing I've ever done as an
artist. I wanted to be clear that there was not a sour feeling or "Why is
this guy deciding to do something else" kind of things. It really is a
great feeling of thankfulness that we got to make all the songs that we did.

John、我、Flea和Chad，當我們一起時，那種化學反應是劇烈的，
也是我身為一位藝人做過最純粹的事。我要聲明這中間沒有哀傷，
也沒有「這傢伙怎麼會想做其他事」的情緒出現。
只有對於過去合作的滿滿感激。


在這篇之前的葛萊美獎篇，提到Stadium Arcadium巡迴時，
四人都有顯露過疲態，覺得"怎麼又要再做一次一樣的事、一樣的演出"。
John更提到，在Stadium Arcadium時，
他發現他們做的音樂已經完全不能在小型俱樂部演出了，
已經是非體育館不可的層級了。
我想這就是John想要離開樂團最根本的原因吧。
