If a long-distance train (product classes ICE, IC/EC or IR) arrives more than
60 minutes late at the station where you alight, you are entitled to
compensation.

ICE Sprinter passengers are further entitled to compensation for the value of
the ICE Sprinter supplement as from a delay of more than 30 minutes.
The above regulation applies to night trains as from delays of more than 120
minutes.

If you have a ticket for a standard or Sparpreis fare (including any BahnCard
25 or 50 discount) you are entitled to a credit worth 20 per cent of the
value of the single journey affected by the delay.

ticket for any Eurostar journey on the following lines: London Waterloo or
Ashford International <> Paris Gare du Nord or Brussels-Midi/Zuid, or Lille
Europe, or Calais-Fréthun.

For a delay of 181 minutes or more on all regular journeys, with the
exception of the service to the French Alps and Avignon: you will be offered
a refund for that part of the journey that was delayed (for example, if you
purchase a return ticket, you will be reimbursed half the amount paid).

respectively of the price of the journey concerned. The amount of the
compensation may not be less than €5.

the fare per direction of travel must be at least EUR 20.

international services;

The Bonus value given is 20% of the international ticket price relating to
the single section (ticket with the minimum amount of 50 euro (19.00 euro for
the Cisalpino trains) including any booking and WL or couchette supplements).
For return tickets, the amount of the Bonus Vouchers is calculated on half of
the ticket price. The amount of the Bonus Voucher is rounded up to 0.10 euro.
