話說KTX-II開發後的訂單除了山川號的240輛(24組)之外
前年還有一批220輛(22組)的新訂單給湖南線使用(一樣2M8T)

Won the Project for 220 Train Cars for Honam High Speed Train

Hyundai Rotem has obtained an order for 220 train cars for the Honam High
Speed Train, which is scheduled to be completed in December, 2014. A total of
22 train sets (220 cars) will be supplied for the project, with 15 sets to be
provided by the end of 2014 and 7 sets by June of 2015.
Hyundai Rotem has proclaimed its mid-long term quality vision, “GQR 2015”,
putting every effort into achieving world class quality by 2015. As part of
the effort, Hyundai Rotem has expanded its R&D manpower and investment as
well as improved the quality control system to enhance the quality of high
speed trains. Hyundai Rotem will manufacture a train that has upgraded
confidence and safety for the Honam High Speed Train Project. The new train
will show upgraded passenger comfort while placing more seats than
KTX-Sancheon by 12% and power outlets for all seats.

這批車主打容量增加10%(貌似取消吧車?)以及新設計
姑且稱為KTX-2.5好了(笑)
最近逛水管發現去年九月多就已經亮相了~
大家可以欣賞欣賞...

推 Akulamaru:ICE-TD就是可以跑200的傾斜式柴聯車啊
推 cutec:車頭設計看來是參考TGV-D的。
