NEW YORK -- Chris Davis has no idea how long his stay in the Major Leagues
might be. But he's out to make sure the front office has a tough time sending
him back to Triple-A now that he's back in the big leagues.
Davis不知道他這次會在ML待多久
他明白的是當球團把他送回3A時有多不開心
不過,現在他又回來了!
"I'm up for the challenge," Davis said. "If I can prove I can be a guy that
can come off the bnech and be productive and somebody they can count on
defensively and feel comfotable with at first or third, maybe I can stay up
here."

Davis arrives in the majors off a solid start in Triple-A Round Rock. He was
9-for-21 with four homers, two doubles, five runs scored and 11 RBIs in five
very productive games. He won't be playing everyday now, though, and will try
to figure out how to stay patient and in rhythm.

21打數敲出9支安打附帶4次將球射出牆外和2支二壘安打
得到5分還有11分打點,重點這是在少少的5場比賽打出來的!
現在的條子,他是沒辦法天天出賽
但還是得學習如何保持耐心和節奏
"It's the hand I was dealt, so it's not anything I can change," Davis said.
"I'd love to be playing every day, but my responsibility is to do whatever
the team needs me to do. With Josh going down, a spot opened up and they
decided to give me a call and it shows the confidence they have in me to come
off the bench and fill in. It's something I haven't done much before, but
something I think I'm capable of doing."

Manager Ron Washington said he'd try to get Davis in games where he could,
but that won't be easy with Mitch Moreland and Mike Napoli at first base and
Adrian Beltre at third. Like Davis said, he'll have to get it done off the
bench. Davis said he's prepared to work with outfield coach Gary Pettis if
the club wants to get him some reps out there.
總A表示他會盡可能把風扇擺到大家需要吹的地方...不是
讓他盡可能可以上場才對
但是1壘有Moreland和拿胖, 3壘有Beltre
如同Davis說的他無法常常先發得待在板凳
假如球隊需要的話
他將會學習轉戰外野.
