The Rangers have placed outfielder Nelson Cruz on the disabled list with a
strained right quadricep muscle. They have recalled outfielder Craig Gentry
from Triple A Round Rock. Cruz is eligible to come off on May 19. Gentry is
hitting .239 with 16 runs scored, no home runs and nine RBI in 25 games at
Round Rock.
