San Diego's Nick Hundley homered in a win at the New York Mets on Thursday
night, moving the Padres into a tie in their home-run race with Texas
Rangers' slugger Josh Hamilton.

Hamilton has not homered in his last 11 games, a total of 39 at-bats. It is
his longest homer-less streak since a 20-game drought in July-August of last
season.

Hamilton has not homered in nine career at-bats against Toronto right-hander
Brandon Morros, who will start the series opener against the Rangers on
Friday night at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. Hamilton has not faced
Toronto's other two scheduled starters for the series: right-handers
Henderson Alvarez and Kyle Drabek.
