條子請來了前紅襪打教Dave Magadan 他在紅襪待了6個年頭
真是相當棒的動作 打線以後一定會更有耐心 加強選球
在他指導下過去幾年紅襪是聯盟中毎打席讓投手用球數最多的球隊
According a baseball source, Dave Magadan has accepted the position as
hitting coach for the Texas Rangers.
The 50-year-old Magadan, who has been with the Red Sox since 2007, had also
talked with Pittsburgh, Seattle, and Cleveland, along with discussing a
possible return to Boston.
Scott Coolbaugh had been the Rangers' hitting coach for the past two seasons.
Under Magadan, the Red Sox finished fifth in runs scored in the American
League during the 2012 season after placing first in the AL during the '11
season, second in '08 and '10, third in '07 and '09. During the hitting
coach's stretch in Boston, the Sox led all major league teams in pitches per
plate appearance (3.94), while totaling the second best OPS (.791).
