A lack of rotation depth could prompt the Texas Rangers to give left-handed
reliever Robbie Ross a shot at starting, general manager Jon Daniels said on
Thursday.

在缺乏輪值深度情況下JD可能嘗試將Ross移到先發輪值

The Rangers have four set starters: right-handers Yu Darvish and Alexi
Ogando; left-handers Matt Harrison. Only three other healthy members of the
40-man roster have started in the majors: right-hander Justin Grimm,
left-hander Martin Perez and closer Joe Nathan, who had 29 starts with San
Francisco in 1999-2000.

目前確定的SP只有四位

“I think he can do either,” Daniels said. “He wants to start, so if that
opportunity were there, I think he’d be excited by it.”

JD表示，"Ross會很高興"

Daniels added that if the club adds another starter, Ross likely will not get
a shot at the rotation in the coming season. At some point, Ross will be
tried out as a starter.

Haudricourt of the MIlwaukee Journal Sentinel (Twitter link) as the free
agent reliever will likely be priced out of the Crew's range.  At least seven
other teams besides Milwaukee are known to be interested in Adams.
