[情報] Choo will undergo surgery

Rangers placed OF Shin-Soo Choo on the 15-day disabled list with a bone spur
in his left elbow.


Shin-Soo Choo will have season-ending surgery to remove a bone spur from his
left elbow.

Choo has dealt with the bone spur since spring training and the issue has
apparently gotten worse recently. He could have the procedure as soon as
Friday if he can get over a cold in the next few days. Choo has also been
nagged by an ankle injury for most of the season, which has no doubt
contributed to a disappointing .242/.340/.374 batting line.
