Anthony Parker Denies Maccabi Reports

Raptors guard Anthony Parker has denied reports that he is in negotiations to
return to Israel and play for Maccabi Tel Aviv once again.
"They said that we're talking and that's not true," Parker said. "I know my
old coach is back there and there is talk about a whole bunch of stuff right
now.
"I occasionally bump into Maccabi fans all over the NBA and they say the same
thing to me: 'Come back'. It's good to be wanted, but there's nothing to it
right now. I've said from the beginning that I want to stay here and be a
Raptor. I love the organization, I love the players here and I'm letting
everyone know that I want to remain."
Parker is under contract with Toronto until the end of the 2008-09 season.
