Raptors Assign Jawai To D-League

The Toronto Raptors today assigned forward-center Nate Jawai to the Idaho
Stampede, the Raptors’ NBA Development League affiliate. Jawai is the 26th
assignment of the season.
Jawai, 22, has appeared in five games for the Raptors, totaling two points
and two rebounds in 18 minutes. He was cleared Dec. 17, to begin physical
activity after being sidelined since training camp for precautionary reasons
as a result of an abnormality detected during normal procedural preseason
cardiac screening.
