[外電] Raptors To Waive Pops Mensah-Bonsu

The Raptors will announce the release of forward Pops Mensah-Bonsu on Tuesday,
according to NBA league sources.

However, Toronto hopes to re-sign Mensah-Bonsu to a 10-day contract if he clears waivers.

Mensah-Bonsu's contract required the Raptors to make a decision this week, with the
remainder of his $825,497 salary becoming guaranteed if he appears on the team's roster
beyond Jan. 5.

He is averaging 2.1 points and 1.9 rebounds in 6.7 minutes per game with Toronto.
