David Beckham has dismissed Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon's claim that
he has decided to retire in two years' time.
B23婉拒Calderon所提出2年後在皇馬退役之事
The Madrid supremo stated that he was under the impression that Beckham would
end his career at the Bernabeu, if he concurs on a new two-year deal.
Calderon表示他希望B23能接受2年的延長合約並能在皇馬退役
However, this claim has been denied by a spokesman for the former Manchester
United wide man, who had previously intimated a desire to close his playing
days in America.
不過此建議已被B23的發言人所婉拒,因Becks曾透露他想到米國發展
The 31-year-old insists he is concentrating soley on his football and that
contrary to reports, he has no intention of hanging up his boots prematurely.
Becks表示他現在全心全意在球場上表現,駁斥提早退役的流言
"Talk of retirement is a complete surprise to us," read a statement.
'退役的流言讓我很驚訝'Becks在聲明稿表示
"No-one has ever discussed a retirement date.
'沒有人提到這件事'
"David's only concern is to play for Real Madrid and win things at the club."
