I'm going to do everything possible to make the fans enjoy my football"
Javier Saviola has landed. After arriving at Madrid Airport's T4 at 6:30 pm
he went to Mirasierra Suites Hotel, where he gave an exclusive interview to
Realmadrid.com and RealmadridTV.
"I'm very happy. This is a great day for me. I'm going to join one of the
most important entities in the world. I hope we have a great season next
year. Negotiations with the Club started a long time ago. I've always wanted
to come here. It's easy to reach an agreement when both parties are
interested."
我很高興，對我來說這天太棒了，我將加入世界上最棒的球隊之一，
我希望我們有個出色的賽季，跟皇馬的談判很早便開始，
我一直想來這邊，所以當雙方都有興趣的時候便很快達成協議。
"I want my first contact to be with the Club's Board Members, followed by the
coaching staff and my new teammates. I would like to stay here a long time
and to play as much as possible in order to prove what I can do. You earn
good results by working well."
我想在這邊待上很久，並證明我的實力。
"I am psychologically prepared to start this new stage in my career. I must
forget about the past and start anew at this great Club. This is a very
demanding institution."
我對於職業生涯的新階段有著心理準備，我一定得忘記過去，重新開始。
I knew some people wouldn't want me here at first as soon as I started
negotiating with the Club. I've always wanted to join an important
institution such as this one. I wish Barcelona's President had made those
comments about me to my face as opposed to the press, but these things happen
all the time. I am grateful to Barcelona, but I know want to focus on Real
Madrid. I will do my best to please the fans with my football."
On Friday, Javier Saviola will have his medical check-up, sign his contract
with Real Madrid and will be officially presented as the Club's latest
signing.
