Real Madrid Considering Roma Defender Juan - Bronzetti
FIFA consultant and transfer guru Ernesto Bronzetti recently ruled out the
possibility that Real Madrid would make a massive bid for Roma talisman
Daniele De Rossi, but he had no such reservations about their defender Juan.
"One of the goals for Real is to reinforce their defence, there are many
possibilities, but one is the Brazilian centre-back, especially if he will
continue to do well at the Confederations Cup," he told ForzaRoma.info.
Asked if there could be a swap of player between the two teams, Bronzetti was
sceptical as the Giallorossi's ownership is an ongoing issue.
"To have a clearer view it is better to wait developments regarding the entire
business and club," he said, regarding the Italian outfit's potential sale.
"We must wait at least another week."
A move for Juan would likely cost los Merengues a fair amount of money, as he
signed a new contract, committing to Trigoria until 2013, just over a month
ago.
