魔力鳥說還會關注市場 可能還會有一兩筆簽約但不會在更多了﹝really?﹞

As reported in an interview given with Radio MARCA, Real Madrid director

general Jorge Valdano praised the talents of los Blancos' first summer

 signing Angel di Maria.


"He is a player that has all the great qualities of a winger. He opens

the width of the pitch, can beat defenders, and further is a youngster

 that shows a lot of effort and this will help us a lot during the

course of the season. Last year we showed we had a few weaknesses on

the wing and Di Maria comes to make a very good completion of our squad."


But while the mercurial Argentine is the first summer signing for los

 Merengues, he is certainly not the last as Valdano revealed that

 Madrid would still have a hand in the summer dealings, but nothing

to break the bank.


"We will continue to watch the market, but we do not have too much

anxiety. However, Di Maria will not be the last signing. We will make

 one or two further signings, no more."


Valdano finished with comments about Madrid coach Jose Mourinho,

emphasising his ambition and professionalism.


"There have been two distinct phases already. There was one in which

he was getting to know the club and the resources available to him

during the course of the season and another phase in which he has

resolved his personal details. He comes across as a man who has a

 lot of passion for his work and that will only end up being contagious."
