Rodrigo signs for Benfica
Benfica have announced the signing of striker Rodrigo from Real Madrid for
the fee of 6 million euros.
The 19-year-old have signed a five-year contract and is set to be presented
on Tuesday at Estadio da Luz, in a friendly match against Tottenham.
Rodrigo Moreno Machado was born is Brazil but he now has a Spanish passport
and plays for La Furia Roja youth teams. He scored the only goal for Spain
in the Under-19 European Championship final defeat to France.
Real Madrid has included a clause in the contract that allow them to buy
back the player for 12 million euros at the end of the season.

with Jose Mourinho and his charges as he sets his sights on immediate success.
