Mesut Ozil passes medical

Mesut Ozil arrived at Sanitas La Moraleja Hospital around 12:05 to have

a medical examination prior to signing his contract with Real Madrid.

 The player passed the physical and will give a press conference at

the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium at 14:00 CET.

Mesut Ozil has officially become Real Madrid's latest signing.

The former Werder Bremen player signed a six-year contract with

the Spanish club. Second Vice-President Eduardo Fernandez de Blas,

Director General Jorge Valdano, Sports Director Miguel Pardeza and

 Members of the Board were with Ozil during the signing of the contract.


Ozil received several gifts, such as his new team shirt. The German

 player also had a chance to meet legendary Madridista Emilio

 Butragueño. Mesut also admired the trophies won by the entity,

 such as the nine European Cups, the eight basketball European

Cups and the Best Club
