Well, I remember the World Cup of 1994 in the U.S., with the ties against
Korea,
2-2 I think, and against Germany, which ended 1-1.

The one in 1994, when I was nine years old and just beginning to play
football.
That’s the one I remember and the one I liked the best as well because it
was the first one, and I remember Spain, and Sweden which had a great team
that went quite far, and Bulgaria.
3. The World Cup final that you got the most excited about?
The final of Brazil-Italy, which ended 0-0 and went into penalties, with the
miss by Roberto Baggio.
4. An image of Spain in a World Cup?
When we were eliminated by Korea. The deception of the team, the anger, the
faces of the team and the fans. Everyone surrounding the referee… that
stays in your head.

Right now, Villa could probably be one of them. He’s sometimes annoying
[Albiol is kidding] but it’s a pleasure talking to him. I haven’t
listened to him in a while, so having him here could mean he’s
one of them. Arbeloa too, he’s also a bit annoying.
15. Why should we have faith in this team?
Because we’ve been playing well, and we won the Eurocopa so it’s
the moment to win the World Cup. We have a lot of confidence in
each other and a great team. We would like to make our fans happy;
