Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho can have defensive rock Mateos
available for selection against Mallorca, as the club has agreed
on Mourinho’s demands and given Mateos a first team professional
contract, if reports from AS are believed.
Mateos was reportedly present in the offices of the Bernabeu with
his representatives and met with Valdano and Pardeza, where both
sides sealed the deal.
The club has promised Mateos that he will be able to play a minimum
of 10 competitive matches with the first team, with current injury
woes.
AS go on to report that Real Madrid also intends to hand another
youth teamer, Juanfran, a professional first team contract, as
Mourinho is delighted with the 21 year old and wants to give him
many playing minutes.
