Hercules Could Pay Real Madrid 2 Million Euro Fine
Hercules could end up paying Real Madrid a 2 million euro fine, due to a
clause inserted in Drenthe’s contract when he joined the Spanish newcomers
on loan during the summer.
According to Marca, the clause included in the loan contract of Drente with
the Alicante club states that Hercules have to pay a penalty of 2 million
euros to Real Madrid if Royston Drenthe plays against the whites when the two
sides meet.
The 23 year old has featured in four matches with Hercules so far this season.
