55th Overall - Nicholas Hagadone - University of Washington Pitcher - 6'5", 230 lbs. - Bats/Throws: L/L ---Hagadone spent last season starting behind Tim Lincecum, who's already pitching in the majors for the San Francisco Giants. Because of Washington's lack of depth this year, Hagadone was moved to the closer's role after just two starts and demonstrated the ability to save games and go longer distances. It's unclear whether he will be a starter or reliever in the big leagues, but most scouts believe he has the stuff to be a good starter. He has three pitches -- a live 90-93 MPH fastball, an above-average slider that tears up left-handed hitters, and a decent (work-in-progress) changeup. 62nd Overall - Ryan Dent - Woodrow Wilson High School (Long Beach, CA) Shortstop - 6'0", 190 lbs. - Bats/Throws: R/R ---Dent is a very good hitter with blazing speed. He's shown the ability to run wild on the basepaths while also hitting to all fields with decent power. While he played shortstop in high school, his average arm strength and just-OK fielding may require a move to second base or possibly the outfield. He's a possible leadoff hitter with the athletic ability to contribute in many areas. 84th Overall - Hunter Morris - Grissom High School (Huntsville, AL) First Base/Outfield - 6'4", 200 lbs. - Bats/Throws: L/R ---Morris has great raw power from the left side and hit tons of home runs throughout high school. However, his approach at the plate could use some work and he isn't considered a great fielder. Either way, his power is the huge upside here and that's why the Red Sox took him. 114. Brock Huntzinger- RHP He's a polished high school pitcher who can repeat his delivery and maintain a low-90's fastball. Should be an interesting follow. Not a high ceiling here. 144. Christopher Province-RHP Typical Sox 4th round pick, where they look for an undervalued player. Province will be a senior sign and come relatively cheap. He can throw a mid 90's fastball from the pen with a high 80's slider. 174. Will Middlebrooks- RHP A legitimate two-way player,Middlebrooks got scouted as both a pitcher and infielder. While he throws up 94mph, most see his future as a position player ,probably at third base. He's got obvious arm strength and is a tremendous athlete who also was a football standout. At the plate,he's got some serious power potential with the kind of frame teams like to see from a future run producer at hot corner High School- 4 College- 2 Pitcher- 3 Position Player- 3 ____________________________________________________________________ -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 61.228.212.159
