繼 Game 6 請出 2004 逆轉功臣 Bill Mueller 來開球後.
紅襪將請當年另一個風雲人物 Kevin Millar 來開球.
Millar 在當年 ALCS Game 4 跟 Game 5 都選到關鍵的保送.
而他最有名的是帶動更種口號, 激勵隊友.
在零比三落後, Game 4 開打前, 發表有名的談話:

Don't let us win tonight. This is a big game. They've got to win because if
we win we've got Pedro coming back and then Schilling will pitch Game 6 and
then you can take that fraud stuff and put it to bed. Don't let the Sox win
this game.
